Kombucha is a sparkling probiotic beverage made from fermenting tea with fruits & botanicals. The word Kombucha is believed to have originated from a Japanese story. Legend has it, The great Japanese emperor Inyoko was healed with brewed “cha” by the South Korean doctor “ Kombu”. In his honour, the drink was called Kombucha.

I personally like drinking it in the morning or after a meal. Kombucha is rich in organic acids that will help regulate acidity in the stomach and makes my stomach feel great. You can use it as a mixer too !

We would not recommend drinking Kombucha during pregnancy or while breastfeeding to be on the safer side. It’s not known to cause any issues but let’s not take any risks whatsoever.
